Sofia Hoch is a Consultant at Space Syntax. She studied Architecture in Costa Rica, where she was awarded her Bachelors in Architecture (2016). She continued her studies at The Bartlett, University College London where she was awarded a Distinction in the MSc in Spatial Design: Architecture and Cities (2018).
Sofia joined Space Syntax in October 2018 as an intern and joined the company as a Consultant in February 2019. She has been involved in projects, in the United Kingdom, United States, Germany and New Zealand, that include detailed spatial analysis, pedestrian movement analysis, design and regeneration of urban space.
She has developed experience in architectural layout analysis, behavioural studies and creating and analysing Integrated Urban Models. Her work includes wayfinding research in complex buildings, user experience analysis in cities and urban strategy creation.
