Parth Mehta joined Space Syntax as a Consultant in August 2024 following an internship in June. With a keen interest in leveraging data-driven insights to draw narratives that inform evidence-based design strategies, he is currently working on major planning and design projects in the Middle East.

Parth holds a Bachelor of Urban Design from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, India and a Master of Architecture in Landscape Urbanism from the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture, London, UK.

He has particular expertise in spatial modelling techniques and data visualisation at territorial scale. He pursued this interest in his master’s thesis, ‘Food – Prints: Translating landscape productivity towards local food production,’ for which he received a distinction.

Before joining Space Syntax, he worked as an urban designer on industrial and institutional masterplans in India. He was a Teaching Associate at CEPT University, assisting in a level 3 studio named Cities of the Future, which used evolutionary computation techniques for urban design. While working as a self-employed landscape design consultant, he conducted various workshops on using Rhino, Grasshopper and QGIS and worked on landscape projects in China.
