Rita Estephan holds a Master of Science in Space Syntax: Architecture and Cities from The Bartlett, University College London and a Bachelor of Architecture from the Lebanese American University.

Rita’s academic interests lie in exploring human behaviour in architectural and urban spaces. In her bachelor’s dissertation, she studied the impact of architecture on the prison system and the importance of design and movement in rehabilitation. For her master’s thesis, she studied the impact of an innovation district on the urban regeneration process of its adjacent areas with varying socio-economic backgrounds based on spatial linkages and social encounters.

Rita joined Space Syntax in October 2022 as a project consultant.

Prior to joining Space Syntax, she worked as a licensed architect in Lebanon. She has experience in architectural design, interior architecture and lighting architecture.
