Valentina Marin Maureira joined Space Syntax in 2016 and became an Associate in 2023. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Advanced Spatial Analysis, a Master of Science in Spatial Design and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
Since joining the company, she has worked on urban redevelopment and complex buildings projects for public and private sector clients worldwide.
Alongside her role as an Associate, Valentina is engaged in academic research at The Bartlett School of Planning at University College London. Her research focuses on the complexity of urban systems, examining multi-scalarity, accessibility and diversity to enhance urban resilience capacity.
