Tim Stonor was a panel member for Data-driven Innovation for Healthy Cities on February 22nd, a Future Cities Catapult event that focused on how to make healthier cities with data utilisation through digital solutions.
The health of a city is affected by many different interrelated elements, including the urban environment. Land use, density, street networks and transport networks are all examples of the urban environment that affect health and wellbeing.
The event brought together public and private sector organisations that have experience in designing, creating and implementing digital solutions to utilise city data to create healthier environments for their citizens.
Tim was joined by Nicola Yates (Future Cities Catapult), Stephen Dobson (Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership) and Iain O’Neil (Department of Health and Social Care), amongst others.
