‘At the heart of the Space Syntax approach is a desire to understand, and then design for, people. If we look beyond the clever computation, what matters to us is thriving life.’

On 12th December Space Syntax Managing Director Tim Stonor gave the Kevin Lynch Memorial Lecture to the Urban Design Group. He spoke on behalf of Professor Bill Hillier, who was the 2016 Winner of the UDG Lifetime Achievement Award.

Tim spoke about the past, present and future of Space Syntax, highlighting the role of science and technology in understanding how people move and interact in urban places.
